Broken reverieI sit on the sea of blue sheets, covered with white papers, the wooden headboard makes me feel like I’m sitting in the ocean, the foam of waves hitting the sand. I stare, out into the window which opens out into the world. I wonder what’s out there for me, instead of sitting on my beach and looking out into the world. I’ve heard stories, of hate and the horrible crimes that nobody ever wants to hear about. The wars that nobody ever wants to see a loved one go to. Though to contrast I’ve also heard of love and everybody at peace, nobody hates and nobody is uncomfortable with themselves.Broken reverie

I was all alone, and it was nighttime in the worst part of the city. I was curled into a little ball, like the child I was, when I felt a hand on my shoulder. My first thought was that it was my kind, loving mother come to take me home. But no, that was impossible, wasn't it?
